As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying identification, and reporting unauthorized persons as required.
• Support emergency response activities on site, following established protocols and communicating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as directed.
