As a Security Officer - School Patrol in Stanford, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational setting, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related issues.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior or conditions around the location, including buildings, walkways, and parking areas.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
Complete reports and logs as required by Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
