Job Description As a Security Officer - School Patrol in NAPA, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education-focused location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations on campus in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific guidelines.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site policies.
Provide information and assistance to students, staff, and visitors as needed, maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor at all times.
