As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter incidents and provide a secure environment at an education-focused location. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activities and support a secure environment.
Monitor premises for suspicious activity and report any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and enforcement of location policies as required.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Support a welcoming environment for staff, students, and visitors by providing directions and general assistance as needed.
