As a Security Officer - School Front Desk in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and staff at the front desk, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries related to the location.
- Monitor access to the building, verifying credentials and maintaining visitor logs in accordance with site-specific policies and procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as appropriate for the location.
- Communicate and collaborate with campus staff and Allied Universal management regarding security-related concerns or unusual activity.
- Assist with the implementation of security-related procedures and policies to help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions within the location.
- Maintain a visible presence at the front desk to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide assistance as needed.
