Your responsibilities will include monitoring activities, communicating with team members, and coordinating responses to incidents. You will help to deter unwanted activity while providing outstanding customer service and maintaining strong communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Being at least 21 years of age is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and operate communication systems to dispatch security personnel and/or emergency services as needed within the educational location.
Receive, document, and relay information regarding incidents, emergencies, and routine activities to appropriate personnel.
Maintain detailed records of all calls, incidents, and activities in the dispatch log.
Coordinate with on-site security-related staff to provide timely responses to incidents and requests for assistance.
Assist visitors, students, and staff by providing information and directions as appropriate.
Follow site-specific procedures and security-related protocols for emergency and routine situations.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external partners, including law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.
Support Allied Universal team members by maintaining awareness of ongoing activities and relaying pertinent information as required.
