As a Security Professional - School Bike Patrol Preferred in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to the campus community, and offer exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to ride a bike for extended periods of time is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and identify potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents on the premises.
- Assist visitors, students, and staff with directions and information as needed.
- Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits according to site protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on all incidents and daily activities as instructed by Allied Universal and site management.
