Job Description As a Security Officer - Bike Patrol in Inglewood, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine armed patrols throughout a commercial real estate location, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and assist tenants and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Sat 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM Sun 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM OFFICER WILL NEED TO HAVE CERTIFICATIONS FOR BATON, CPR/FIRST AID, HANDCUFFS AND PEPPER SPRAY! Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Ability to ride a bike is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents.
Work closely with property management and tenants to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings while on patrol, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Follow all Allied Universal protocols and client site instructions to help to deter potential disruptions or incidents.
