As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires both driving and armed responsibilities, offering an engaging environment where you provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Must have updated resume
Must have California Driver's License and be able to ride a bike
Must have 2+ years of security, law enforcement, or military experience
Must be able to comply with company policy regarding visible tattoos and piercings
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required as required by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Able to ride a bike.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behaviors or situations to the appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points to help maintain authorized entry and exit of individuals.
Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by following established protocols.
Maintain a visible security-related presence to help deter potential incidents at the government location.
