You will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, remain highly visible, and help discourage security-related incidents while supporting access control and visitor flow. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site teams, and deliver helpful customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following site-specific post orders, access procedures, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including production spaces, warehouses, yards, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor and control access for employees, contractors, and visitors by verifying identification, managing visitor logs, and directing traffic flow in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, requesting assistance, and coordinating with onsite personnel as needed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and client contacts.
