As an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support smooth operations through clear communication and outstanding customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and partner with site teams. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including dock doors, trailer yards, parking areas, and building perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and assist with checking in visitors, contractors, and drivers according to site procedures, including directing traffic flow at receiving and shipping areas as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with incident scene control as directed.
• Complete timely reports and logs such as patrol activity, incidents, and unusual conditions, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
