About The Position

As a Security Officer - Roving Patrol in Fulton, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate professionally with site staff, respond to alarms and/or unusual activity, and document observations with clear reports. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a distribution and logistics location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or shipping documentation when required, and directing drivers, employees, and visitors to appropriate areas.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs regarding patrol activity, unusual conditions, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts.
