As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols and inspections, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reports with clear, professional communication. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to support patrol coverage and timely assistance. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Being able to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site contacts as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, process areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization for entry, monitoring gates and doors, and directing visitors and contractors according to site requirements.
• Complete required security-related reports, logs, and shift communications, including incident reports, patrol observations, and equipment status updates.
