You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, support access control, and respond to calls for service with clear communication and customer service. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor and/or manager experience or 3 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma and/or GED.
  • Be 21 or more years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, hangar areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
  • Monitor and control access through gates and doors, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
  • Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
