As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and assist staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service. This is a driving post, so you will use a company vehicle to complete assigned rounds, document observations, and communicate issues promptly. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site and shift.
  • Monitor access points and screen for authorized entry, assisting with visitor direction, badge and/or credential checks, and reporting unusual activity per site policy.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and timely notification to site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift transitions to support consistent coverage.
