About The Position
As a Security Officer - Routine Unarmed Patrol in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with staff and visitors, document observations, and respond to concerns with strong customer service. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a financial institution environment.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance to staff, visitors, and/or first responders as directed.
- Complete accurate reports, incident logs, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift briefings and/or handoffs.
