Job Description As a Security Officer - Rounds and Perimeter Watch in MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide a welcoming presence for tenants and visitors, respond to concerns, and document activity using site technology. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards.
Monitor access points and building activity, verifying authorization where required, assisting with directions and general inquiries, and documenting unusual activity per site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, fire and/or alarm activations, and disturbances, and notify Allied Universal management and/or appropriate responders as needed.
Complete detailed reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions to support consistent security-related coverage.
