Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas while staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, and document observations using site tools. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, lobbies, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical-related calls for assistance, and/or fire and life alarm activations, and coordinate with site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
  • Support access control by monitoring entry points, confirming authorization for entry, directing visitors to appropriate destinations, and/or assisting with visitor management procedures.
  • Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift activity logs, and/or pass-down information, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership.
