Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to everyone at the location. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff, visitors, and patients in the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the healthcare environment to assist with the protection of people and property.
• Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site-specific requirements.
• Collaborate with facility staff to support a secure environment and provide assistance as needed.
