As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will drive and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist customers and store teams with clear communication, report concerns, and support a welcoming experience. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting management and/or law enforcement when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, entrances, stock areas and the exterior perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor alarms, access points and/or video surveillance when assigned, and report suspicious activity to help to deter theft and other policy violations.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
