As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and interact with visitors to provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or property damage in and around the location to the appropriate personnel.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site policies.
Document all incidents and relevant activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
