You will conduct mobile rounds across the property, stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, respond to calls for assistance, and provide courteous customer service. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, associates, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with store leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, loading and receiving areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or property damage.
• Monitor activity for unusual behavior and policy violations, report concerns to the appropriate contacts, and complete shift logs and incident reports per site requirements.
• Support access control and customer flow at entrances and high-traffic areas, including observing for prohibited items and/or disruptive activity and assisting with queue management during peak hours.
