Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and commitment to exceptional customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to situations as needed, and embody our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first while supporting a secure shopping environment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
Assist in controlling access to designated areas within the location as required by site policies.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
