As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail and entertainment location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet guests, assist team members, and communicate clearly while responding to calls for service and documenting observations. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and entertainment location, including exterior areas and parking lots, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas; observe for unusual conditions; and assist with access control and/or guest direction as assigned by post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, medical situations, alarms, and/or policy violations, and request additional assistance when needed.
- Document security-related observations, incidents, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate timely updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
