Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail location. Your visible presence and dedication to outstanding customer service will create a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises by vehicle and/or on foot, embodying our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity every day.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the retail environment.
Work closely with store management and staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment for customers and employees.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or observing visitor activity as required.
Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities while on duty.
