Security Officer - Full Time Retail Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Full Time Retail Patrol Driver in La Jolla, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet state and/or local licensing requirements prior to employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, documenting security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior.
- Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by communicating with property management, assisting with directions and visitor inquiries, and reporting hazards or disruptions.
