As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Chattanooga, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, where you will navigate the property to support access control and assist visitors. Requirements
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

- Primarily driving post is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing assistance as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
- Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity within the retail or mall environment.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents according to Allied Universal policies and site-specific procedures.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents or concerns at the location.
- Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as needed, following site-specific guidelines.
- Support emergency response efforts as directed by Allied Universal and client protocols.
