This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license under AU driver policy requirements, supporting patrol coverage across the property. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeters to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, supporting de-escalation, and contacting local emergency services when needed.
• Monitor and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns; complete incident reports and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Assist with access control and asset protection support such as observing deliveries, monitoring loading areas, and providing directions and information to customers and staff.
