Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional at a busy retail mall location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with local management and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or service needs, while offering directions and assistance to guests.
Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by reporting suspicious activity, checking for unsecured doors or gates, and following post orders for after-hours or restricted-area patrols.
