About The Position

As a Security Officer Retail Center Patrol Driver in Ladera Ranch, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will drive through assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing reliability, integrity, and an innovative mindset to every shift.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a technology-focused location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Monitor entry and exit points, observe site conditions, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, assist with crowd and visitor management, and complete accurate logs, reports, and other required documentation.
