Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol Driver in Clarksville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for conducting patrols in a vehicle. You will provide outstanding customer service and communication, embodying Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, and teamwork, and contributing to a welcoming environment for everyone at the location.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with conflict resolution and reporting as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and around the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report on any unusual activity or potential concerns.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters.
Complete required documentation and reports related to incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
