As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for guests and tenants. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the location, and delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail or mall environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and support a welcoming environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or other security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control and/or visitor management as required by site-specific protocols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site staff to address security-related matters and promote a positive visitor experience.
