Job Description As a Security Officer - Retail Entry Patrols in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols throughout the premises, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to staff and visitors. This is a driving post, where you will remain visible, respond to situations as they arise, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements

Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergencies when required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
Document daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
Work collaboratively with store staff and management to support a welcoming environment for customers and employees.
Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points as directed by site procedures.
Provide directions and general assistance to visitors, helping to promote a positive experience within the retail environment.
