As a Security Officer -Retail Center Patrol - Full Time in Danville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer, where you'll be a visible presence in a retail and mall environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Your role will include regular patrols of the location, responding promptly to situations as they arise, and providing outstanding customer service through clear communication and a caring approach. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or suspicious activity.
Interact with the public in a professional manner, providing assistance and information as required.
Document routine activities and incidents accurately and submit reports in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.
Collaborate with site management and/or law enforcement in response to incidents or emergencies as directed.
