As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a high-end retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will greet shoppers and store teams with outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document observations for follow-up. Requirements

A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail setting.
Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout sales floors, stock areas, corridors, and perimeter areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, fitting room areas, and high-value merchandise zones; observe behavior, report suspicious activity, and coordinate with store leadership as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control issues, disturbances, and medical situations, and/or contacting emergency services when directed by post orders.
Complete detailed reports and maintain required logs; communicate significant activity to Allied Universal supervision, store management, and/or local law enforcement as needed.
