Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the hotel or resort location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to maintain a secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and the location.
Assist hotel or resort staff and guests with security-related concerns, providing information and guidance as needed.
Remain alert to unusual activity or situations that may require a response, and communicate promptly with appropriate personnel.
