As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel property, including guest areas, back-of-house, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment for all occupants.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site guidelines.
  • Work closely with hotel management and staff to address security-related concerns and provide support during emergency response activities.
  • Remain visible and approachable to guests and staff, offering assistance and information as needed while upholding Allied Universal's standards of professionalism.
  • Adhere to all company and site-specific policies, procedures, and regulations while on duty.
