As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A security guard card or license is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergencies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the hotel or resort property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor the premises and assist with access control, reporting any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with crowd management during events and busy periods within the location.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding incidents or security-related matters.
Complete required reports and documentation of daily activities, incidents, and observations as directed by Allied Universal procedures.
