About The Position

As a Security Officer - Resort Perimeter Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a hotel and resort environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to observe and report any unusual conditions.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access as needed.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Support emergency response activities as directed, which may include assisting with evacuations, medical situations, or other urgent incidents.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to guests and staff.
