Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday available. As a Security Officer - Government Perimeter Patrol in San Bernardino, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide reassurance to those on-site. You will conduct routine patrols and engage with the public, offering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- MUST HAVE VALID AND CURRENT CA. GUARD CARD & TRAINING CERTIFICATES!
- PLEASE COME DRESSED IN BUSINESS ATTIRE CLOTHING.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by site protocols.
- Communicate with Allied Universal management, site personnel, and/or emergency responders as needed to address security-related situations.
