Job Description As a Security Officer - Resort Patrol Unarmed in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to situations as needed. You will maintain a visible presence, provide outstanding customer service, and support a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual conditions to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and/or directing individuals as necessary.
Support hotel and resort staff during events or high-traffic periods by maintaining a visible presence and providing security-related assistance.
Document incidents, activities, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as directed during incidents or emergencies.
