As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support guests and staff with clear communication and exceptional customer service. You will work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, bringing a caring, people-first approach while acting with integrity every day.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, staff, and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and/or service requests in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of lobbies, guest areas, parking areas, back-of-house spaces, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and common areas, assisting with visitor management, key and/or credential control, and directing individuals to appropriate locations as needed.
- Complete incident reports, daily activity logs, and/or other required documentation, and communicate observations and status updates to site management and Allied Universal supervision.
