Job Description As a Security Officer - Resort Grounds Patrol in Bethesda, MD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a hotel and resort location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible throughout the property, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel, resort areas, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter potential security-related concerns and unauthorized access.
Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols for the location.
Document security-related incidents and observations accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.
Communicate professionally with hotel and resort staff, guests, and local authorities as necessary.
Support access control measures and visitor management processes as required by site-specific policies.
