About The Position

As a Security Officer - Resort Entry Control in Marco Island, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious hotel and resort location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, residents, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location.
  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment within the premises.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed reports as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
