As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage access control by checking credentials, verifying visitor and contractor entry, logging deliveries, and monitoring security-related activity at gates and key points. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and communicate clearly with site teams. Requirements

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Control entry and exit at gates and/or checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing temporary credentials, managing visitor logs, and directing visitors to the appropriate contact or location.
• Coordinate vehicle and delivery access by confirming appointments and/or paperwork, communicating with site personnel, and documenting inbound and outbound truck traffic per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, completing security-related reports, and supporting arriving emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, production-adjacent areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
