As an Access Control Officer at a renowned hotel and casino location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the property. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Control access to the premises by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals at the location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Provide customer service by assisting guests, employees, and visitors with directions, information, and security-related inquiries.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures provided by Allied Universal and the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols in and around the hotel, casino, and racetrack areas to support security-related objectives.
Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific and Allied Universal protocols.
Support emergency response activities and assist with the implementation of site-specific policies as directed.
