Job Description As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Specialist in Olive Branch, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points and conducting routine patrols within a busy logistics and distribution location. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the logistics and distribution location.
Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, following site-specific procedures and protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and/or delivery personnel with inquiries and directions as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as appropriate per site guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for irregularities and report any security-related concerns.
Document and report all security-related incidents, unusual occurrences, and/or maintenance issues according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist in emergency response activities, including following evacuation procedures or providing information to first responders as directed.
