About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Control in San Clemente, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage access control by verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring entry points using computer and/or tablet systems. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card and/or license is preferred.
Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
Control entry and exit through designated access points by verifying identification, checking credentials, issuing visitor badges, and directing approved guests to appropriate areas.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and building systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through required communication channels.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or emergency services when appropriate.
Complete required activity logs, access records, and incident reports with accurate details, and support property management requests within post orders.
