About The Position

As a Security Officer Access Control Control in San Clemente, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will help manage access control by verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring entry points using computer and/or tablet systems. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific access control procedures and security-related policies.
  • Control entry and exit through designated access points by verifying identification, checking credentials, issuing visitor badges, and directing approved guests to appropriate areas.
  • Monitor alarms, cameras, and building systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through required communication channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying Allied Universal supervision and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Complete required activity logs, access records, and incident reports with accurate details, and support property management requests within post orders.
