Job Description As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Jackson, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence and routine patrols will help to deter incidents, while you provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with employees, visitors and/or contractors at the location.
Document incidents, observations and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Support emergency response efforts and follow established procedures during incidents or drills.
