Job Description As a Security Officer - Residential Screener Driver in Diamond Bar, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Screener at a residential location, you will monitor entrances and interact with residents and visitors to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Screen individuals entering the residential community, verifying authorization and/or identification as required.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and Allied Universal management as needed.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential property and perimeter as directed by site procedures.
